Happy Cinco de Mayo! Here is an easy fresh salsa that you can quickly throw together for dinner or last minute party tonight. I used canned tomatoes to make it super easy but you can alternate with fresh ripe tomatoes if you have that too!

Easy Homemade Salsa
makes about 5-6 cups
2 – 14.5oz. cans diced tomatoes (or use 4-5 ripe tomatoes)
4 oz. green salsa
1/2 chopped jalapeño with seeds (can vary depending on preference of spiciness)
1 medium yellow onion, diced
2 big handfuls of cilantro leaves
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 lime, juiced
2 garlic cloves, minced
salt & pepper to taste
Blend everything in a blender or food processor and enjoy!
