Recently, I’ve been converted to sparkly water. Not the flavored kind, just pure sparkling water. It’s my favorite drink: refreshing and special that feels well deserved at the end of a the day. Today we’re making this everyday refreshing drink even more special, by making our own berry, mint, and edible flower ice cubes to drink with it.

Fresh Berry and Mint Ice Cubes
Make them yourself

Step 1
- 1. Fill an ice cube tray with berries, mint, and edible flowers. Less is more we found, just add one or two pieces in each. Try to pick berries that aren’t too delicate. For example, the raspberry ice cubes didn’t turn out as clean because they’re more delicate it’s hard to not get some raspberry juice in there.

Step 2
- 1. Here’s the trick to get clearer ice cubes. Use distilled water and boil it. Twice. Boil it once, let it cool for 30 minutes, and then bring it to boil again. Let it cool once more and pour over your berries in the ice cube tray.

Step 3
- 1. Freeze and pop out to serve!

So simple, but so pretty! I love the result.
There are a few ways I love these little beauties: Either filled in a glass and topped with sparkling water for a refreshing fresh drink.
Or you can serve the bottles themselves right in a tub of berry ice.
