What if you spent just a few extra minutes to have a family breakfast? I’m sharing a few fun and delicious ideas to help make that happen for your family.
Each of these ideas take less than 5 minutes to make so you can spend that quality breakfast time actually with your family, not slaving over the stove.
2. No-pan Canadian bacon and spinach breakfast sandwich
I’ve seen a few recipes for making eggs in the microwave and thought it might be fun to try out. Cooking eggs in a ramekin makes them the perfect size of a breakfast sandwich. Plus cleanup is quick and easy.
Lightly scramble 2 eggs and place in a ramekin (you could do just eggs whites too). Microwave for about 2 minutes until mostly cooked. Top with Canadian bacon (you can warm that in the microwave too for a minute), cheddar cheese and spinach leaves and place on a toasted English muffin.
4. Berry granola and yogurt parfait
Simply assembly here! Layer store bought granola (or if you’re ambitious, here’s my homemade granola recipe), berries, plain yogurt, a bit of your favorite berry jam into a pretty wine glass or ice cream dish. Top with more berries and a sprinkle of their favorite cereal.
