We had yet another incredible Huddle last week, this time in Palm Springs with a fully vaccinated cohort! Here are a few photos from the week and details on the event…
It’s been over a year since we’ve had a Huddle! This Palm Springs Huddle (our 5th Huddle) was originally scheduled for June of 2020 and obviously the pandemic created some major hurdles in making it happen. And when it finally did last week, there was so much pent up energy and excitement in this incredible group of female founders growing and scaling big, impressive dreams and businesses.
But, first let’s back up for those of you that are unfamiliar with The Huddle (or wondering why the blog has been a bit more silent the last couple of years).
The Huddle is a series of intimate retreats for female business owners centered around mentorship, skill sharing, business strategy, leadership coaching, and the holistic needs of a female entrepreneur. It was born out of pure necessity, and you can find more about the vision and founding story of The Huddle in this post, and more info on The Huddle site here. The retreat are purposefully very small and by application only, focused on women growing and scaling their business.
This time we headed to Palm Springs to a gorgeous estate and incredible pool. Our retreats are a real mix between deep dives into business strategy, individualized support for your business, holistic care, wellness, family style meals, and time for connection. We work hard and play hard!
One of the really unique parts of The Huddle are Hot Seat sessions. EACH woman’s business has a Hot Seat hour session where we focus collectively, brainstorming together to address each woman’s specific challenges. We also have high level guidance in these Hot Seats from our mentors. At this Huddle we had Susan Petersen of Freshly Picked, and Bridget Brown of The Advisory Guild as mentors.
Each woman also had a personal coaching session with our leadership coach, Monique Shields during The Huddle. Monique works with female executives and is such an outstanding resource for our attendees.
During free time, our attendees had spa treatments, coaching sessions, and plenty of time to connect and talk shop by the pool.
Every day was a little something different with a few surprises like the Oracle readings, a hike, and Sound Bath.
Each woman also had an opportunity to get professional headshot taken! This was a new offering that we’ll continue to do at future Huddles. It was a big hit, and who doesn’t love a fancy new headshot??
I feel so lucky to be part of this incredible Huddle community and absolutely love seeing them grow and transform their businesses.
