Have you been baking and cooking more than usual lately? Yup! Us too. We asked our Instagram readers what winner recipes they’ve recently discovered, and found some great family recipes to try at home during lockdown. Here’s what they said (and a few of my new favorites as well)…
The VERY easiest and delicious pizza dough recipe from Smitten Kitchen (although you do have to start midday or earlier). We make it every Saturday night. A new quarantine tradition!

“Sweet Potato Salad with Pepita Dressing from Smitten Kitchen” (image here too). Such a healthy, hearty, vegetarian, one pan meal. Yum!

These skinny banana chocolate chip muffins from Ambitious Kitchen (image here too) are delicious. My kids request it weekly. Only 1 T of coconut oil, no refined sugar, and whole wheat flour.
My grandma’s whole wheat bread. We may this bread every week with soup and the two loaves don’t last more than a couple days. It’s perfect.
Perfect crispy tofu with maple-soy glaze from Bon Appetit (image here). Such a great vegetarian dish.

“Half Baked Harvest Garlic Butter Naan” (image here too). Naan is surprisingly easy to make on a really hot cast iron pot right on the stove.

These steak tacos from Pinch of Yum (image here as well) are SO flavorful. You can warm up the tortillas on the grill too.

More than one reader recommended this Alison Roman Chickpea Stew from NYT Recipes (image here too). It’s become known as ‘The Stew”. A must try.
Love this deep dish skillet pizza from King Arthur Flour via Food 52. (image from Cooking Light). The cheese layer on top of the crust, before the sauce is the KEY here. It’s crispy and delicious!
These spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce is a new favorite right after a grocery trip when we have lots of fresh veggies and fruit. So happy and colorful!

Also just a reminder we all have fails too. This is me and my overcooked, burnt boxed mac and cheese (didn’t think it was possible? Me neither).
