We all need a good immune boost to get us through the rest of winter. Healthy Smoothies are our favorite way to get all those good nutrients and antioxidants in, and today we’re partnering with Maty’s Healthy Products to share two secret ingredients for our immune boosting Vitamin C winter smoothie.
Maty’s make a whole line of natural remedies for things like coughs and colds, but with natural ingredients you recognize and trust. So no worries about side effects or taking too much. A bit more about what makes them different right here.
We’re using a teaspoon of the organic cough syrup (they have natural and organic cough syrup products for both adults and children) in our Vitamin C smoothie. My kids loves smoothies. Not only is it a great chance to throw in greens and nutrients they might not eat on their own, but a no-tears way to add in some natural remedies like cough syrup when feeling under the weather.

Green Vitamin C Smoothie
Handful of kale or spinach
1/2 banana
1 cup of frozen peaches, pineapple, and mango
1/2 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice
1 T of honey
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
1/2 cup of grated carrot
1 fresh squeezed lime

We also added in a teaspoon of Maty’s Organic Cough Syrup. It’s an easy and natural way to help cure those winter colds we all suffer from.

I love the forum. Great content towards healthy living. Wanted to know what all your thoughts are on Meticore. Been using it for a month now and have see some drastic results. http://bitly.ws/bw9v
I’ve never tried cottage cheese in a smoothie, but I imagine it would make it super creamy (and hide the texture – which is my only real issue with it as I like the taste)! Thanks for the tip!
You had me at cottage cheese! I’m buying some today!

I never thought of adding cottage cheese in a smoothie. That’s a new one. Lime, though, always! Something citrusy always works! ❤️❤️
