Yippee! We’re headed to Sayulita, Mexico for a family spring break trip. I’ve heard so many amazing things about this little town on the western shore just north of Puerto Vallarta.
Then, next week I’ll be flying directly to Alt Summit in Palm Springs. Only for the last two days but, will I see you there? If not, see you back here in two weeks!

Sayulita has infrastructure problems. Too much sewage goes directly into the ocean. People much too often, report getting sick there. Maybe stick to the pool, or pick another location.
I returned from Sayulita two weeks ago. 8 out of 8 of us got severe vomiting. The ex-pat who rented his place to us down played the epidemic of norovirus. But after we arrived, he said “maybe you’ll be the first guests not to get sick!”. We weren’t. Plenty of other sweet down a nearby. Change your plans now and enjoy your time in Mexico.
Awesome let me know how being sick for a week straight is 🤮. Used to love but it is now a health risk. Read below :

Site of my engagement in 2009! I imagine it has changed but I had one of my most memorable vacations in this wonderful little town.
All 8 of our group got super sick the 3rd day. The septic system is overwhelmed and they are overflowing into the ocean. It was a gem until, death was upon us!!!
I hope you enjoy it just drive thru it there other day couldn’t find parking to save our life I suggest I’ve you find parking never leave just walk everywhere else. Too many people in one small place for me
Sayulita is slowly growing. The hidden gem is being polished to accommodate the travellers to and from PVR. When I visited in 2015 the bus stop was a metal bench outdoors with a rusty metal awning surrounded with vegetation uninhabited and natural dirt ground.I returned in 2019 and the bus stop has moved down the road closer to the village and is a mini open air electronically operated bus station. Yes it’s nice, fancy in a modern touch, but the beautiful pueblo is growing with more food merchants, yoga studios, and surfing stores. The pueblo is growing too fast. It’s still a gorgeous place to experience and EXTREMELY FRIENDLY residents; Wish it would stay just the way it is.
Sayulita, how wonderful! Do have a great time! Would love to hear all about it when you’re back! ❤️✨
