Happy Friday! The next week we’re taking a posting break while I’m away on my annual backpacking trip with girlfriends. This time, we’re headed to the Wind Rivers of Wyoming and we’re taking 2 pack llamas along for the adventure with us.
This is the third year of our trips, and it’s always such an incredible highlight of the year in so many ways. The first year we went canoeing down the Allagash River in Maine, and the second year we hiked the Alaska Chilkoot trail from Skagway, Alaska into Bennett, British Columbia. Those links will take you to detailed trip reports if you’re interested in checking it out. This Wyoming trip will be the most intense yet. The area is extremely remote, mileage is longer, the conditions are trickier (colder, and more bugs, altitude all about 10k).
It’s going to be such an exciting adventure. You might catch some snippets on our instagram when I return next week on the 22nd, and I’ll try to put a trip report together soon after I return as well. Have a great weekend and upcoming week!
