One of my favorite things to do on our trip to Scandinavia was people watch. In Stockholm and Copenhagen the streets were lined with women that looked so chic and on trend. One of my favorite trends I saw were the duster jackets (see below) that we saw everywhere. They made every outfit look classy and well put together. Here are 20 of my favorite street style trends for summer.
Look above: Denim has been the hottest things since slice bread lately and for summer that means denim high-waisted midi skirts.

Try a wrap dress (or a wrap style jumpsuit). It has interesting lines, great ventilation, and cinches up the waist just right.
Black and white is a year round thing right now and the possibilities are endless. I love the added detail of lace and stripes in the look above.
If you are into the 70’s vibe that is hot right now try a embroidered peasant dress or top (bonus points if you have bangs too!).
If you are feeling brave, culottes could be the only pant you wear this summer. I don’t think it gets any more comfortable!
The half up top knot was by far the most trendy hair style I saw in Scandinavia. A perfect messy look for summer.
Overalls (duh!). I love them paired with a loose white tee. Works perfect for denim, black and even white overalls.
Dress down a silk top with some shorts and tennis shoes. The perfect polished look for summer.
These duster jackets were THE hottest thing in Scandinavia. All the girls were rocking them. It’s the perfect lightweight jacket for summer and makes everything instantly chic.
Stripes are always in but this summer it’s all about the vertical stripes. Perfect for making you look long and lean!
First it was Birkenstock’s and now Teva’s are making a come back on the fashion scene. The perfect way to get your style and comfy on!
Distressed boyfriend jeans are not going away. They are here to stay. At least through summer! Pair them with a classic white button up and your favorite dressy sandals.
Spice up your wardrobe with a structured graphic tee (bonus points if it’s a pineapple!).
In Scandinavia it was all about the tennis shoes. Girls were wearing them with skirts, dresses, slacks and everything in between. I love it when my most comfortable shoe becomes my most stylish shoe.
It’s a shirt, it’s a dress, it’s a shirtdress! Dress it up, dress it down, you can’t go wrong with a shirtdress.
Denim and lace make the perfect soft + structured combo for summer. You could recreate this with denim jeans or shorts and a flowy lace top.
Swap out your jeans for some cool and breezy slacks. These were all the rage in Stockholm.
If you’re on the hunt for some shades this summer try something a little more retro, like theses classic 50’s style shades.

The summer version of a jumpsuit, and just as comfy! Pair with your favorite flats and some simple jewelry for an instant outfit.
Find a little black dress that is comfortable enough to live in during the day and sexy enough to wear into the night.
very great pictures and advice…ym
