How to wear it: White Jeans for Spring

The days of not wearing white before Memorial day have long since come and gone but it’s always nice when the weather finally feels warm enough to shed the dark layers and throw on something white. White jeans are one of the classic pieces that you can never go wrong with… as long as you are styling them right!

Four tips for styling white jeans for spring…

One: Stay away from pairing white jeans with bright, saturated colors. Instead, stick to neutral tones. Utility green and blush pink are two of my favorite colors to pair with white.

Two: Don’t be afraid to dress in white both on the bottom and top. It makes for a great statement and is an easy look to throw together. Black shoes are a great idea to pair with this look to help contain the white.

Three: You can never go wrong with stripes. A classic blue and white or red and white tee is the perfect soul mate for white jeans. Dress up the look with some sandals with heels.

Four: I like this look because it takes the two jackets of spring, the trench and the jean jacket, and shows how well they both marry well with white jeans. When in doubt, throw on a jacket!

I love the white jeans from Loft in the Skinny Modern. They’re durable and super comfy. Skinny leg without being too skinny. If you want a shorter leg get the ankle cut. They are always having 40% off sales online so only buy them on sale.

These look great! But I’ve never found a pair that aren’t see-through. Any (affordable) suggestions?

It’s hard to tell online for sure, but I found these Levi jeans for $54 (http://bit.ly/1Alo5Bn). Levis are usually thicker jeans so hopefully they wouldn’t be quite as see-through. Overall I think your best bet would be to keep your eye on a high quality pair of jeans and wait for them to go on sale. Zara also seemed to have some affordable options but it’s hard for me to tell online how see-though they are. Hope this helped!

Yes, summer is definitely right around the corner. I see a lot of ladies wearing these white jeans now. So pretty.

Thank you for this wonderful post! 🙂
