What kind of fashion advice do you have for postpartum, in-between sizes new moms?
First and foremost, be proud of your body! You just created a beautiful human being inside of you, definitely not the easiest thing on your body. I say take it easy and just enjoy the time with your little one. However, leggings and over-sized tops are a great go-to. 🙂
Have you splurged on any item in your postpartum wardrobe?
Chacos. They are incredibly comfortable, easy to slip on and off and are perfect for any terrain. Whether it’s a walk down the street, strolling through the park, taking a day hike in the foothills, or running to the grocery store. Comfort. Comfort. Comfort.
Tell us more about that fabulous lipstick you are wearing. What are your favorite lipsticks?
Since I now have Shepard and love to give him a million kisses a day, I usually like to avoid lip gloss and go for lip stains. That way I can give Shepard kisses without leaving sticky lipstick all over his yummy cheeks! The lipstick I am wearing is Revlon ColorStay, Perennial Plum.
favorite shoe: chacos
favorite place to vacation: the mountains
one item in your makeup bag you can’t live without: lipstick. If you don’t have time or are just too tired to put any make-up on, simply slip on some lipstick and you instantly look glamorous. 🙂
color or black and white: all of the above.
What are a brands of jeans do you suggest that are high waisted, and within a reasonable budget? I’ve had some luck with Old Navy but their stretch wears out quickly. I have wider hips and short legs, but not a petite torso so jeans are always a challenge for me.
Hi Jane! Great question. I’ve had success with Urban’s BDG line of high waisted jeans that are in the $40-$50 range. GAP is in a similar price range too and I’ve liked a pair of high waisted jeans from there as well. Also, I have a ton of luck at consignment stores for jeans that might be too expensive to buy full price!
Love her look, and especially her vibrant lipstick!
