The idea is looking to achieve harmony as opposed to balance. The article mentions, “This idea comes from the concept in music, where different notes are sounded together to create a beautiful sound. The non musical definition is “the quality of forming a pleasing or consistent whole”.
Perhaps, it isn’t about balance at all, but more about tuning the notes in our work and home lives to achieve more positive results in either. Small shifts instead of shaming ourselves into more or less of one feels much more healthy don’t you think?
