This post is sponsored by Zappos x Dansko. I get so excited for spring weather that I’m always pulling out all the summer dresses a bit too early. Today I’m sharing a couple tips for nailing those early spring outfits…
First tip is finding an easy slip on shoe. Sneakers can feel like a hassle when you’re running out the door. Finding the right socks with sneakers is so much of a pain point for me too, are you the same? And as much as I want to start pulling out sandals in early spring, we get so much rain this time of year that it just isn’t practical yet.
I really love these Dansko Odina shoes for this reason. They’re super comfy, some nice ventilation to wear without socks, and in beautiful, high quality leather. You can slip them on so easily when running out the door, yeah! They’re sleek and even have a bit of a hidden heel (I could use it!). Zappos is always my go-to spot for shoe shopping, and you can buy these Dansko shoes there. Free + speedy shipping, 365 day return policy, and the very best customer service.
Second tip is to unwrap those summer dresses and wear them over jeans and a tank. It just feels so summery to put on that dress, but still with a bit of warmth and practicality. If the breeze picks up just wrap that dress up for a minute, and then when the sun comes out again, unwrap it.
It’s so versatile and I really love how feminine, yet casual wearing a dress over jeans feels. Also, a really simple jeans and tee outfit becomes immediately updated with a beautiful opened dress framing it. Easy!
My best bet is to find a really interesting vintage floral one, a long kimono, or maybe even a vintage 70s Indian print, gauze one. You might have the perfect dress in your closet already. Just be sure they either unwrap or unbutton all the way down.
