We’ve got a really simple DIY for you today. If you liked our bunny ears headband project for Easter, this is a similar process that’s even easier to make. The knot bow it just wrapped around a simple hair elastic. Keep reading for the full tutorial…
Supplies:
Fabric of choice (we used mostly linens)
Hair elastics
Sewing machine and matching thread
White paper cut out
Scissors
Step 1: Cut out two pieces of fabric in an elongated eye shape (ours was about 6 inches long, 3 inches wide)
Step 2: Sew them right sides together, leaving a 1 inch opening. Trim edges
Step 3: Pull the fabric through the hole so it’s now right sides facing out. Don’t both even sewing up the hole, it’ll be covered up when you knot the bow!
Step 4: Pull the elastic through the enter and make a simple bow knot in the middle.
That’s it!
