Have any holiday parties coming up? This week seems to be jam packed with them before we head to Tahoe this weekend. Here are a couple ideas on what to wear…

I’m in love with this drawstring pullover sweater! It’s a great way to transition from work (or holiday errands) to a cozy party in the evening with this festive skirt and red high heels (BCBG a couple seasons old, but similar ones here, here or here). We’re a fan of half tucking the sweater in front so it feels a bit more casual.
Hanalei is in her second trimester at 17 weeks (congrats!!), which is sometimes an awkward time to dress up for a holiday party. You’re still looking…maybe pregnant? and starting to feel uncomfortable in most of your clothes. We found this great wrap front dress with an empire waist that’s not maternity, but perfect for that in-between time. The gold boots are from Zara from last year (although we found a bunch on ebay!). When you’re pregnant and feeling a little frumpy, I love wearing fancy shoes (if your changing body can handle it!). These gold boots were my go-to party shoes when I was pregnant with Dot last winter. Hanalei is also wearing some awesome hoop earrings (love these thin onesand only $5).
