Simple, Healthy Holiday Hair

I love having a few simple hairstyles up my sleeve for the busy holiday season. Plus, a simple style is the best way to showcase shiny, healthy hair so today I’m partnering with Olly Undeniable Beauty vitamin. I asked our beauty contributors Molly and Joanna to share their favorite simple holiday hair today. Perfect for those holiday parties with friends, paired with a flirty short bell dress. Add some bright red lipstick and a fun ribbon and you’re ready to go!

Make it yourself

Step 1

1. Start by adding a wavy texture to hair by wrapping 1-2 inch sections around the curling barrel

Step 2

1. Spray a texturizing spray on roots to mid-shaft (middle of hair). Our favorite spray is Oribe Texturizing Spray

Step 3

1. Begin to section from one ear to the other, aiming for a slight triangle/point on the top of the head

Step 4

1. Once sectioned, back comb the section

Step 5

1. Wrap the section on a high pony over the triangle/point you created earlier by sectioning
2. Loosen pony with fingers so its not too tight around face. Feel free to let the “wispys” go

Step 6

1. Back comb the pony tail for added volume
2. Then back comb the back section, around the crown for extra volume

Step 7

1. For the final step, tie your choice of ribbon. Something around 1/2 inch thickness looks best!
2. Spray with hair spray and enjoy!
