With so much greenery from trees and garlands this time of year, I thought it would be fun to make a simple festive headband. We used Eucalyptus leaves from a garland we just bought, but you can use any greenery you have laying around (or foraged from outside!). I think it makes a really pretty touch for a holiday outfit.
Here’s how to make one…
Supplies: Headband (we wrapped ours in ribbon first), scissors, greenery, floral wire
Directions: Take medium size (4-5 inch) greenery sections and wrap around the headband with floral wire. Start with one side and work your way to the other. Leave about 2 inches of exposed headband on either side. Add smaller pieces in at the end to even it out.
Eucalyptus leaves dry nicely so this one should stick around for a while as long as June’s two year old sister keeps away from it…

We’ve been wearing these all morning. So far they are still in tact, even with the two year old, and look great. So pretty.
This headband looks so cute!
