Ever since watching The Gnome Mobile growing up (please tell me we weren’t the only ones who watched this bizarre disney film!), The Redwoods have been this enchanting place to me. After our Lost Coast hike we stayed up at a bed and breakfast along the Avenue of the Giants. That’s one tradition we have with backpacking: The night after we always stay at a nice place and eat a fancy meal. It feels so good to be a little pampered after a couple days on the trail.
