I spent a good portion of Henry’s nap yesterday cooking up and jaring strawberry jam (easy to follow recipe here) from some strawberries we bought driving through Sonoma last Friday. The house smelled so wonderful. Now all I can think about it making homemade bread to eat with all this fresh strawberry jam. What do you like to make during peak strawberry season? Another favorite of mine is this strawberry country cake I made last year and I’d love to try some strawberry butter (super simple) from one of my favorites brunch spots in Manhattan, The Popover Cafe.
