The lease has been signed. Our house is officially rented out to some fabulous tenants. Really very happy but lots of mixed emotions of course. Jared reminds me all the time it’s not the house, it’s the people in it. I think about that every time I start to get sad about leaving this beautiful place we’ve called home the last two years.

hey beth! would love to tell you about all this. shoot me an email at lizstan@gmail.com and i'll fill you in
Oh-and that was actually me leaving the comment about Salt Lake, not my husband 🙂 Thanks!Beth
Found you through Design Mom and just had a couple of questions about living in the Salt Lake area because you've been there, done that. Don't know if you have time to answer them, but I just thought you'd be a good resource. We're looking to rent in SLC (we think) with my husband's new job and just don't even know where to begin. I know Utah Valley pretty well, but nothing about Salt Lake Valley-are there lots of kids for my kids to play with in the Avenues or Sugarhouse? Are these neighborhoods mostly students or families? I see lots of rentals there, but not really sure…. Anyway, if you get a chance between packing boxes, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
It feels like you just arrived!
congrats and congrats!!
Whoops. Just realized that I commented on my hubby's account. It's actually Honora…
I totally understand, Liz! We made it to SF and I have to say, so far it's just been wonderful. I keep pinching myself! Good luck with the move, and make sure you say good-bye to every room in the house. It helps, I swear.
I'm so bummed you'll be leaving. But so happy to see you off to San Francisco. I love it there! Good luck with the move.
