Final Destination

Well after 10 hours of travel (including hours of delays in the Vegas airport due to a freak snow storm), we finally arrived in New York-home sweet home. We brought the snow with us, following us from Utah to Vegas to New York. Today New York is having its first snow storm, perfectly in time for the holidays.
Although, it’s been more than a year since I’ve been home and it feels different to me. Flying over it, the city looked surprisingly intimidating, the driving more nerve wracking, the people less friendly, and the cars so fancy. I’m feeling like an outsider, but I’m hoping I just need a few days to warm up to it all. Now that I’m home, I’m realizing how much I’ve missed it here.
