Jared is away at scout camp for the week, but I’ll be bringing a flag cake and delicious summer salad to the bbq (the one we own 1/3rd of) at our friends place this afternoon. Afterwards, we’ll be watching the fireworks at the statue of liberty from hoboken’s park on the hudson river.

Ricks…I was with your family tonight. My parents were dressed in African attire, and you parents made some yummy food. Love the classic mingling with the Westchester crowed. Oh, the childhood 🙂
