The Explorean, the hotel we stayed at in the jungle, near the ruins of Kohunlich, was so fabulous. Individual huts with hammocks and candles on the porch. Well organized active adventures everyday like kayaking, mountain biking in the jungle, etc. Spa and all-inclusive food/drink. I would definitely make a trip all the way down there just to go to this hotel again. It was sooo peaceful.
