Nothing’s sweeter than a little one clean and sweet smelling from a warm afternoon bubble bath. Usually we have bath time in the evening but on Fridays, which is my day off, we have bath time during the day after dropping Henry off at school. Sometimes she’ll play in there for forever it seems, far past the wrinkly fingers and cold water.

Mustela products are made from mostly natural ingredients, making them super safe for baby skin and they smell amazing. Edie’s skin is really sensitive so we have to be careful what we use and I love how gentle these Mustela products are.

Her hair is so fine and curly, just like mine was at that age. It’s so angelic looking but I feel bad about all those knots and tangles in her future. I’ve been there!

When Henry’s bathing with her, he’ll do this thing where he dumps water over his head and she’ll burst out into giggles. She’s trying to mimic that here. Everything that Henry does is so cool and funny to this little lady. I love watching their friendship blossom as she comes into her own sassy personality.

For our bath, we used the Mustela Multisensory Bubble Bath and the 2 in 1 Hair and Body Wash. I love how gentle they both are (soap free!) and she comes out smelling like heaven. When we’re really feeling cautious about her sensitive skin we can add a couple drops of their wonderful Bath Oil into the water as well which protects, restores, and soothes their skin in the water.

Bath time conversation usually involves farm animals, various songs we sing at her cue, what we think Henry’s doing, which bath toys she considers Henry’s, and plans for ice cream after dinner when dad comes home.

Nothing’s more snuggly than a nude baby straight out of the bath! At this point she usually loves to take off running down the hall nude but was feeling too modest today in front of the camera.
