Jared’s Party

The dinner party for Jared’s birthday turned out perfect. Aren’t the decorations amazing? That was all Jordan. She is a genius. You can see her instructions here at Project Wedding.
This is what I made and served for the 14 guests: Cream of parsnip soup. French baguettes. Mixed greens with gorgonzola cheese, sliced pears, candied pecans and sweet vinaigrette dressing. Ina’s Five cheese baked penne. Strawberry country cake. Fancy sparkling juice to drink.
The hardest part was having everything ready and warm for each course, while still having time to sit down and enjoy it; but it turned out perfect and most importantly Jared had a great time.

How creative and festive. The bright colors add so much cheer. Hope your hubs had a Happy Birthday!

This is the cutest and most creative of decorations. I loved it so much when I saw it on Jordan's blog, that I blogged about it. I didn't know it was for your husbands birthday. You guys did an awesome job.

making me hungry! what a yummy meal – and those decorations look super cool.

Sounds fabulous! Love the colorful garland. Have you, by chance, happen to come across a DIY for Pom Poms, the big paper ones?

Such a great party and company. Love all that you did. And please do a post about your 7-minute bday song.

LOVE the hanging decorations!! I'd leave them up for weeks if I were you. :)Happy Birthday to Jared!-Liz

Amazing! Another home run by Jordan. I can't wait to try this.
