Did you know there are more melted marshmallows in fudge than anything other ingredient including chocolate? I had no idea. For our party, I used this martha stewart recipe for simple fudge, omitting the nuts, adding 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract and crushed candy canes on top.

If I wasn’t leaving for New York in a couple days, I would be making these ornaments made from fabric scraps and a styrofoam ball. Instructions here. Also great for neighbor gifts. Note: The ‘pva glue’ they say to use sounds a lot like modge podge to me.
