Thanksgiving is just a month away but since we won’t be with family this year due to COVID, I’m already thinking how we can make it special. Here are two kid-friendly DIYs for a festive table…
First, some easy placemats! We made some some personalized ones with kraft paper, a chalkboard marker, and fall colored markers.
One other small detail that can be a good busy activity for kids is a cereal necklace threading activity. We used whole grain Cheerios and some natural string. We added a small piece of tape on the end of each string to make it easier for the child to thread. I love the natural fall colors of the cereal with the table setting. Leave a jars of cereal with string as part of the centerpiece!
