Last week we spent an amazing fall weekend up in Guerneville at Forest View Ranch. They invited us to come stay, and we can’t wait to come back. This place is just so special. Here are some highlights…
Forest View is a fully working ranch and apple farm with a huge vegetable garden, chicken coop and even pigs in the spring and summer. They were incredibly kind and patient with the kids, teaching them how to harvest vegetables and collecting eggs from the coop. The loveliest humans!
The entire property is scattered with so much to do and explore. Treehouses and forts, a tire swing and the kids favorite...
So many apple trees! We picked and ate our way through the entire ranch and even made homemade apple juice (more on that coming!)
There are a couple cabins on the property, and one 2 person treehouse. We stayed in this beautiful one It was stunning and very comfy (sleep 4-5)
Maybe my favorite part was this outdoor bath! Right on the river (dry now of course this time of year) and so beautiful.
The last morning we did some apple juicing which was the kids favorite part. We picked apples off the tree, and used this machine to press them into the freshest juice.
There's an outdoor shared kitchen so you can cook whatever you want from the garden. We made breakfast entirely from their ranch (eggs, veggies, bacon). Amazing!
