Today Edie is the fierce Dragon Queen, Daenerys from Game of Thrones. Gaby, our Say Yes crafting assistant, sewed this cape and dress for her daughter who is dressing up as Daenerys for Halloween this year. But here’s how you can put this costume together quick (sewing machine or not)…
To collect: Black leggings, a simple blue dress, boots, 2 or 3 cute dragon stuffed animals like the ones we got from Amazon. If your child isn’t a goldilocks, you can get a cheap blonde wig too (an Elsa wig works great!).
To make: Gaby made a reversible cape, so can use for another dress up game. Here is an easy tutorial (use a glue gun if you don’t want to sew), and if you’re short on time or not feeling that crafty, Etsy has so many inexpensive capes to buy.
Bonus points: Grab a play sword from your toy bin!
