Hi there! My name is Liz Stanley and I’m the founder and director of The Huddle. I’m originally from a suburb of Manhattan, but have spent the last 15 years out west. Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Oakland, and currently Bozeman, Montana with my husband and three children. For the last 14 years I’ve worked in publishing and content creation on my lifestyle site SayYes.com @sayyesblog. But little known fact: I also have a MA in Counseling and absolutely LOVE a creative helping task.

The Huddle was created out of pure necessity born from my own challenges running my team and scaling Say Yes. It felt incredibly intuitive and full circle for me to create an intimate community of female founders valuing collaboration over competition. Combining that heart-centric, helping side of myself with the 14 years of business growth and development.

I’m a networker, a host, a community builder, an adventurer, an open book, a cheerleader, a truth seeker, a creative, and a deeply loyal friend. Also, I can’t turn down a spontaneous girls night, karaoke microphone, cocktail, or dance floor. A pretty even split between an Enneagram 3 and 7.

I created The Huddle to be exactly what I needed in my own business and the businesses of other female founders I knew. I craved real ‘open those spreadsheets’ problem solving, honest feedback, deep and meaningful long term connection, collaboration over competition. All in a holistic, feminine space and framework of supporting the female founder.

I’m so glad you’re here following along on this journey as you’re forging your own. I’m building this business alongside the inspiring businesses of our 100+ Huddle Alumni and mentors. I know that the more female entrepreneurs we see succeed, the more our girls will feel empowered to take risks and follow their passions. And I’m ALL about our next generation of girls crushing those glass ceilings and breaking down traditional barriers in business.
