I’m so excited to share with you guys the final reveal of the reading nook in our master bedroom, which we decorated and furnished in partnership with IKEA….
It feels like forever ago (pre-COVID), but last December we started working on a renovation of our master bedroom. We first opened a wall between our room and the sunroom, and turned half of that new space into a closet.
The old closet became a small master bathroom, and the big opening to the old sunroom became our reading nook! Details about that section of the project here. It took a while to get our new windows ordered and installed, and then even longer for me to photograph it all (thank you, pandemic + distance learning), but excited to share it with you guys today.
For this reading nook, I knew I wanted a super comfy lounge chair in here and this pink SODERHAMN loveseat one was just a great find! It’s spacious and cozy, a perfect spot for curling up with a book and a long Sunday afternoon nap. Love the little INGRUN throw blanket too.
There are some fun pieces on the shelf from IKEA as well I picked out like the UTVANDIG brass candle holder, blue and white GODTAGBAR vase, and HOVSTA birch frame. We framed a little drawing Edie had make of our family. I love framing special little things like this.
To keep the wooden floors cozy, we added this TOFTLUND sheepskin throw rug which makes a nice transition from the main area of the bedroom.
I was happy to partner with vnpdfs
on this home decorating project as they always offer such beautiful, modern design in a timeless style and at an affordable price. They are my go-to, as they probably are for you too! From kitchen to bathroom, outdoor and bedrooms, vnpdfs has always been my first stop when redecorating a new space.
