We’re starting our Art with Edie class tomorrow, whose joining us? Here’s a list supplies to put together a basic art set for kids…
Basic Art Supplies for Kids
Washable acrylic paint. We just buy primary colors of red, yellow, blue, + a big white jug
Drawing, watercolor, or mixed media paper. Really, anything that’s thicker than printer paper so paint, markers etc don’t soak through. We like to get larger sizes or 11 x 17 or 9 x 12
Washi tape for masking and borders. We prefer this over painters tape or masking tape because it doesn’t rip the paper when you pull it off
Watercolor paint set. This one has 36 colors which is nice, but the basic 8 color set works too
Paint brushes. I really like these flat tip ones for the 3-8 age range. You’ll need fine tip ones too (watercolor sets usually come with these)
Construction paper and/or colored paper
Markers. I really love this set, but if you’re concerned about washability, something like this is fine
Mounting putty to hang your art masterpieces on the wall
You’ll also need but probably have around the house: scissors (regular scissors for kids 5+), small plate/tray, a couple mason jars or other sturdy cups, a small rag for each child, an apron or old shirt, and sharpened pencils
Bonus items: decor items like sequins, and a basic set like this which has googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pompoms etc. Also, colored pencils, tablecloth, string + clips to hang art while drying
Really like to got the here great article how to log off windows 10 such this is the very and amazing post for bloggers.
