Happy weekend, friends. The air here in Northern California is the worst in the world right now with the fires going on. It’s so terrible, I’ve included some ideas on how to help in the roundup list below. We’re all cooped up because of the air, but escaping to a movie today, and then leaving tonight for Palm Springs and then San Diego for the rest of the Thanksgiving week while friends stay at our home here. Up to something fun? Here are some links to explore:
what we're loving this week
Our state has been devastated from the recent fires. There are 71 people confirmed dead, and more than 1000 are unaccounted for. It’s somber, and the toxic air here in the bay area is a constant reminder of the tragedy just a couple hundred miles away. Here’s an update on what’s going on. And here are some ways to help: The Wildfire Recovery Fund is a great local organization helping in relief and recovery efforts, The Red Cross is providing shelters and basic necessities, and the FFCF supports volunteer firefighter efforts. Lots more ideas here.
