Are you hosting any Halloween parties this year? We often have a few friends over on Halloween for chili and cornbread before heading out to trick or treat, and this year I’m planning on making this spooky Halloween punch with carved oranges…
It’s so easy. We just used regular cider and added a few carved oranges and mini crab apples to decorate. Plus some dry ice of course. Here’s how to carve these cute little mini orange pumpkins:
1. Chop off the top, just as you would a pumpkin. We tried to carve them without scooping out the middle, which looked a bit neater, and was easier, but then those darn oranges just sunk to the bottom. Using small oranges (like clementines or mandarines) and scooping out much of the rind and insides will help with keep them stay afloat in the cider.
3. Add cider to a large bowl and drop your orange pumpkins and mini crab apples inside.
I absolutely love this! It’s so cute!
