Rainy Afternoon Outing

oldnavy15

On a rainy afternoon earlier this week I loaded up the car with kids and snacks, picked up Henry from school, and headed straight to the Conservatory of Flowers. It’s one of my favorite places in Golden Gate Park. Have you been there? It’s an indoor series of connected greenhouses filled to the brim with exotic  tropical plants. Here are some photos of our afternoon in partnership with Old Navy’s kids spring line, which is SO good! Full of bright florals, classic patterns, and vintage-inspired styles. The perfect cheer to an otherwise dreary rainy day…

Dot was mesmerized by the all the plants and pockets of light coming through the glass windows. Sorry, Dot. Clearly we just don’t get you out of the house enough.

Also, I’m obsessed with the material of her gauzy dress. Super soft, great faded navy stripes, and perfect for sunny + warm temperatures coming our way soon!

Nine year old style advice:

Henry, “No, no, Mom. This is how you wear a baseball hat”. Flips his hair back, loosens the hat, tilts it to one side. EPIC.

Even just the outside of the building is stunning. It’s the oldest wood conservatory left in the country and every detail is really lovely.

I’m wearing: High neck maxi dress $27/jean jacket $34

Am I the only one that can’t resist putting Edie is sundresses everyday, even in winter?
