It’s a happy coincidence that Giving Tuesday has fallen on my birthday this year! We’ve collected a few ideas on ways to give back through monetary donations or gifting. Although there are also so many things to get involved with locally as well. Would love to hear your ideas, but here are some of ours…

Every Mother Counts: Supporting safe pregnancy and birth worldwide (image below)

Save the Children: Help children worldwide in crisis including the 23 million displaced refugees. Right now Johnson & Johnson is matching any gift you give 2x
NuDay Syria: aiding Syrian mothers, children, and families
Charity:Water: supporting clean water sources worldwide (lots of water-themed gifts to shop here too)
International Rescue Committee: The IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. “At work in over 40 countries and 25 U.S. cities to restore safety, dignity and hope, the IRC leads the way from harm to home.”
Days for Girls: Helping girls stay in school by providing sanitary supplies. More about it here
World Wildlife Fund: A virtual adoption to their global conservation efforts. Great for kids to help pick an animal they want to virtually adopt (and they receive a plush animal and other goodies in the mail)
GIFTS THAT GIVE BACK: Here’s a very short list (there are so many!) of gifts that support or give back to underprivileged communities
Live Fashionable: Beautiful products made by disadvantaged women worldwide, with courageous stories of overcoming all kind of challenges

These charities all sound amazing! We went and did some service at our church today for a funeral, and it felt good to do something for others, especially today.
