I don’t know about you, but I’m getting so excited for all the delicious food and fun family time that Thanksgiving brings! But it is easy to overlook the details when all you can think about is some juicy turkey on your plate! Don’t let your stomach stop you from adding some adorable decor to your festivities – try this easy addition to your table to let your guests know where they can sit down and chow!
What you need:
-Leather (I used recycled leather from old ripped jackets/skirts, you can find sheets of leather at Joanne’s and Michael’s in the leather craft section.)
-Scissors
-Pen/Pencil
-Permanent marker
-Needle and thread
How to make it:
-With your pen or pencil, sketch out a feather shape on the back of your leather.
-Cut out the feather and the little slits along the edge.
– Use your needle and thread to sew a few little dashes along the center of the feather.
-Use permanent marker to write in the name of your guest in the middle of the sewn dashes.
So pretty! This is a placecard craft I might actually have time for! Thank you!
Gorgeous idea, we’re entertaining a huge crowd this Thanksgiving- will have to try these!
I love these, beautiful job Caitlin!
