Homemade Stamps

There are so many wonderful things to do with homemade stamps. Use them to decorate Christmas cards, gift tags, or a pretty scene on paper for your child to decorate with crayons. Handmade stamps have such a lovely look to them, I love how each one is unique and special. I think it would be cute to create a whole set of alphabet stamps, which would make a fantastic holiday gift!

Supplies: craft foam, scissors, round wood pieces, gold spray paint, wood glue, exacto knife, knobs, stamp ink

Step 1: Draw the shape you want onto the craft foam and cut out with scissors

Step 2: Make small knife cuts into the craft foam for small spaces if needed in the design

Step 3: Continue with the other designs. Spray paint one side of your wooden circles gold.

Step 4: Glue the cut out shape onto the non-gold side of the wooden circle

Step 5: Glue the knob onto the other side and you’re ready to start stamping away!

Step 6: Wrap it up in a box for a great gift or just a special place to keep your holiday stamps.

I’m getting addicted to the stamp thingy recently and this is one of the best DIY I’ve seen 🙂 Love this and pinned it! 🙂

This is a perfect project to do with kids. I’ve been looking for projects to help make our christmas a little more handmade. Thanks for sharing!

I think the wrapping of a gift is a vital part of the gift and what a great way to make personalized gift tags!
