I’ve been kind of obsessed with gold spray paint lately (as evidenced here, here, here and here to name a few). This is my latest idea: gold dipped holiday glasses. So easy to make and they really do transform your holiday table. A really simple holiday entertaining idea.
My craft room has become the ‘gold spray closet’. There’s a large cardboard box covered in a light dusting of gold paint that doesn’t get put away since I’m kind of lazy I use it so frequently.
I liked the result so much I spray painted our entire wine glass set. We’ll see how I feel about that decision come mid-summer…

ooh! those wine glasses are awesome! i'm going to try white. it would be interesting to use all different sized glasses and apply the paint in the same way to make them feel like a collection.thanks for sharing!

Does the spray paint come off easily? I just had to spray paint a frame with metallic paint, on on the areas I didn't sand lightly, the paint came off if a fingernail so much as brushed it. I don't expect this to be permanent or washable, but would it last through dinner?
