Welcoming Fall

We had a really relaxing weekend in the Redwoods. Roasting marshmellows wrapped in cozy blankets, hot cocoa with whipped cream, hearing crickets all night, kayaking down the Russian River, and of course, endless hours throwing rocks and leaves into the water. That was Hank’s favorite part. Everything smelled, felt, and sounded like Fall. Feeling recharged and ready to face the week!

Ha! I'm catching up on my reading, and this was such a lovely surprise. So glad you had fun.

UT's fall weather has been wonderful, and I almost cried today when my pediatrician reminded me NOT to take my baby outside much during Nov-Apr. I hate to think that our winter is just around the corner!

michelle, well the cabin was kind of small compared to him..

What a picture! Love the light streaming through the trees. And um, Hank is a GIANT.

Lisa, we stayed at a friends cabin in Guerneville. About 90 minutes north of San Francisco. Very charming little town with the Russian river travelling through it.

What a great time!!love this image with the filtering light and the structure behind your sweet Hank!great capturexxcallie

Where do you guys stay when you visit the redwoods? I've been trying to plan our next trip, but I'm unsure on where to stay. Thanks!
