So the rumors going around are that Pier 1 is closing its stores December 2009. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but there is a huge sale section right now. I think I’ll have to go check out some stuff in person this week at the store here. Here are a few of my pics (nothing is over $50 below):

I heard this rumor as well, I went in search of gangbuster deals: said deals I did not find – so I asked the shopgirl and she said they are closing many stores but they are not going out of business.

my sister is Pier 1 ob-sessed so I'm sending her this link… I hope it isn't closing! All the closing stores make me so sad.
