Gift Guide: Healthy Stocking Stuffers

There’s a lot of sugar and sweets this time of year, so we always found healthy stocking stuffers in our stockings growing up: snacks, dried fruits, pomegranates, clementines, cheeses, nuts, etc. I really liked that tradition and would love to continue it (if it weren’t for those darn Trader Joes dark chocolate caramels that always get me!).

Here are some ideas for healthy stocking stuffers (that may or may not actually fit in your stocking):

1. Play Food Snack Set ($15.50) that are so cute adults will want to play with them too
2. Brita Water Bottle for Kids ($8.99) to encourage drinking those 6-8 cups of water a day
3. Lego Utensils ($18) to make dinnertime more fun
4. Stainless Steel Food Containers ($18.50 for set of two) to store their healthy snacks at school
5. Food Face Plate ($11.95) for kids that might need a little encouragement to eat their whole meal
6. Talking Moo Milk Mixer ($18) that swirls your milk! I need one of these
7. Kids Fun and Healthy Cookbook ($12.23) to encourage your kids to cook healthy meals together

Side note: Our stockings were always found Christmas morning on the floor overstuffed with loot but also surrounded by larger items that wouldn’t fit inside like our favorite cereal or a coloring book. Were your stockings found on the ground too or still hanging?

I put my kids’ stockings on their beds. It keeps them away from the tree for a little while while the adults snooze a bit longer!

Santa (mom) always filled our stockings with the greatest stuff! They were always on the ground. I’m trying hard to follow suit, I just haven’t got there yet! I’m only on my 3rd Xmas.
