3. Tenor Danel Phill
4. Faune Blanc, c.1946 Pablo Picasso

6. Canyon de Chelly, Navajo Edward Curtis
7. Vogue- August 1954 Leombruno-Bodi
8. On the Fly  Irene Suchocki

Have you ever given a piece of artwork as a gift? It requires a lot of thought, which is why I think it’s so special!

I love that deer with socks- so cute and kind of festive as well.

Yes, I have given a piece of artwork as a gift. My friend is a bike rider and I saw a beautiful watercolor of a bike in a garden. My friend told me she had it in her basement on the floor and a flood destroyed it. I was sad and thought, I guess you didn’t like it enough to be careful with it. It was expensive to frame too. I gave it from love and picked it out especially for her. We might think we know what a person will like, but in the end, we really don’t know.

It’s true, it’s hard to know especially with art. But I know that when someone gives me something that clearly took a lot of thought and time it’s very special to me- even if it isn’t exactly what i would have wanted
