My new favorite San Francisco temptation. An oatmeal cookie ice cream sandwich. Then it’s dipped in chocolate. ‘Nuf said.
Sold at the little market right across the street, perfect for after dinner sugar fixes (but I kind of wish they only sold vegetables).

If you're talking about Faletti's Market you should try their other ice cream sandwiches from Marianne's in Santa Cruz. They are right next to the It's Its in the freezer and they are (I hate to say it because I'm an SF native) EVEN MORE DELICIOUS than the original. They have a perfect chocolate chip cookie inside instead of oatmeal. Yum!
i JUST bought a box of these at the grocery store (i live in socal)! they are so so SO fabulous!
you can also buy them in grocery stores, they have vanilla and mocha, if i'm not mistaken…SO good.

Oh man, imagine my pain when I moved to AZ as a teenager and discovered that It's It were solely a Cali thing. I used to buy them from the ice cream man every day during the summer. I haven't had one in years and I STILL crave them!K
