Happy Birthday Jared

Yesterday was my husband Jared’s birthday. We didn’t do anything grand (his birthday present was in the form of a huge trip) but had a nice breakfast with homemade blueberry muffins (I added crumb topping) and I made his favorite carrot cake with orange ginger frosting for dessert after an extended family dinner. For the frosting you substitute the vanilla with orange juice and 1 T orange zest and ginger instead of the sour cream.
Sure are glad you came into this world, Jared. 🙂
