Jared summited his first peak over 11,000 this weekend! The climb up White Baldy was over 7 hours long to the summit and snow the whole way. He has tried two other 11,000+ peaks (Box Elder and Nebo) but didn’t end up making it to the top of those because of the snow and avalanche conditions.
Every other weekend from now until the fall he’ll be working on his goal to climb all 18 11,000+ peaks in the Wasatch Front. Once the snow conditions get better it’ll be much easier.
