Fall fashion is one of my favorite things about fall, and street style is one of my favorite places to go for inspiration. Here are 6 street style looks to try, and some links so you can recreate them yourself!
Linen on linen. So cozy and comfortable, the perfect light coverup for early fall. Try knotting the shirt at your belly button above some high waisted trousers. My favorite sources for great linen clothing with a reasonable price tag is this etsy shop, Not Perfect Linen. Also, be on the lookout for vintage trousers and oversized dress shirts (here’s one!) at your local thrift store for a really well worn in look (check the mens department!).
(image above) I love the look of denim on denim, and in my book it works pretty much year round. Some great high-rise boyfriend jean options (one, two, three) and three great button up top options (one, two, three). Don’t forget a cool belt or even a rope for a belt (below image from Mr. Larkin).
We’ve seen a lot of high waisted cropped pants around and they don’t seem to be going away, paired with a cropped sweater or top, it’s the perfect look for fall. Pants (one my personal favorite, two, three), tops (one, two, three).
This long denim jacket makes such a stunning statement. I love that a casual jacket was paired with pieces that are a little more elegant. Here are some denim jacket options (one, two, three-khaki with denim accents), great block heels (one, two-in all the prettiest colors, three) and some camel pants (one, two, three).
By now, you know how we feel about how waisted cropped pants. How about taking it up a notch and adding a belt bag! That’s right, it’s like a fanny pack but also keeps those pants up. You can find them on ebay here, or go the extra mile and get a regular old fanny pack (still trying to find that pink and purple one I had in 5th grade). Here are some great fanny pack options from Everlane for only $25! PS Found some similar jeans to these on Asos right here for only $35!
Don’t put your graphic tees away just yet. Pair it with a skirt and throw on a jean jacket for when it gets cold. Some great graphic tee options (one, two, three), and skirts (one, two, three).
Trench coats are one of those classic pieces that is always in style. I love a long trench for fall, especially when it’s paired with sneakers and a knit black dress. Trench (one, two, three), dress (one, two, three), sneakers (one, two, three).
I love those yellow pants!

Pinning some of these outfits. Love the all-white one and denim-on-denim. I have a thing for matching sets, it seems, haha.
