Have you seen Pantone’s color of the year for 2017? I have to admit at first I was shocked and a little disappointed when I first saw what color they picked…Pantone declared Greenery, a zesty yellow-green shade, the 2017 color of the year. After last years pastels, and 2015’s earth tone Marsal, I was surprised to see such a bright color choice.  Greenery was picked as a symbol of new beginnings. The shade of the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. While I can’t see this color sneaking into my wardrobe I do love the symbolism of a fresh start. How do you feel about the color choice?

Here are some runway and street style images featuring the color of the year!
