Weekend Roundup

This weekend Jared is headed up backcountry skiing and I’ll be here with the kids making Super Bowl snacks and finishing up some work projects (it’s been so nuts this week especially with the move coming up!). We were up in Tahoe last weekend during a crazy storm which kept Edie and I inside the whole time. It was actually really nice to have an excuse to truly relax. There was no internet or household projects around to distract me from just hanging out, it was so refreshing! (image from Tahoe last week above).

Something cool! If you’re in the San Francisco area, I’m doing a family reading at the babyGap on Chestnut St. Saturday at 11am. It’s in collaboration with the new Mr. Men and Little Miss GAP collection which just launched, and also with Milk + Booties, a great non-profit collecting used books for the Boys & Girls Club. RSVP here! There will be fun activities, treats, and prizes. I hope to shake a few hands, donate some used books, and do a little shopping myself for the new baby. Hope you can come too!
