Three Fall Outfits

IMG_4769
With all the fall fashion inspiration we’ve been posting, I thought it would be fun for our team to try some of the current trends ourselves. Sarah, Ashley, and I took a field trip to Napa Premium Outlets with a budget of $250 each, and came back with three different complete looks based around a specific trend we were interested in. Here’s what we came up with…

Sarah in Sporty Chic: Or health goth, as some call it. It’s a trend we’ve been seeing for the last year or so. Mixing all black with sporty items like running shoes and a backpack. Very chic and very New York. Sarah says, “It’s something I’ve been meaning to try for a while and I already think I’ve found a new favorite outfit!” -Sarah

Ashley in a thin fall trench: “Ever since my trip to Scandinavia, I’ve been wanting to try one of these neutral thin trenches that I saw women wearing everywhere. Turns out it goes great with everything, including bold patterns in black and white.”- Ashley

Myself in Monochromatic Neutrals. “Ever since Ashley posted this look for less, I’ve been wanting to try out this fall trend with khakis and camel tones for fall. It was harder than I thought to find the right shades of khaki that look great together but I love how it turned out!”- Liz

Outlet picks: Sweater and khakis from J.Crew, hat from Lucky, Desert boots from Clarks. Total spent: $235

We had a fun time running around to all the different shops trying to put together a full outfit. They had a bunch of our favorites: J.Crew Factory Store, Clarks, Famous Footwear, Banana Republic Factory Store, Barneys Warehouse, GAP, etc and lots more with some great discounts. We’ll be back for holiday shopping for sure. I always hit the outlets during the holidays. Do you? One year I even went at midnight on Black Friday and scored some serious deals.

What fall trend are you wanting to try this year?

I love all these looks! Nothing too overwrought but everything is perfectly styled.
